Any law firm can claim to be part of your motorcycle community. Freeburn motorcycle attorneys is the real deal.
Every employee of Freeburn motorcycle attorneys is a member of a.B.A.T.E. Of PA, (a 5,000 member, state-wide motorcycle rights organization), and the motorcycle riders foundation, (“MRF”), (a national motorcycle rights organization).
Freeburn has been recognized by a.B.A.T.E. Of pa for his service to the motorcycle community by being awarded its prestigious “Freedom Fighter” and its “President’s” awards.
Freeburn motorcycle attorneys demonstrates its commitment to the motorcycle community by doing the serious work and devoting hundreds of volunteer hours advocating for the individual rights and freedoms of riders.
For example, in 2022, I spearheaded a.B.A.T.E. Of pa.’s opposition to legislation sponsored by the pennsylvania insurance federation that would have taken away critical insurance coverage for riders and increased insurance premiums for motorcycles by approximately one thousand percent. I created a petition in opposition to this terrible legislation that garnered approximately 2,500 signatures. Freeburn motorcycle attorneys also created a postcard in opposition to the legislation of which hundreds were sent to legislators. I also wrote position papers, newspaper articles, and letters to legislators. I gave numerous speeches and met with multiple leading state senators and representatives. As a result of our efforts, this legislation was defeated. We expect that the insurance federation will introduce similar legislation this session, and we will continue our fight for riders.
Freeburn law also advocates for several other issues that are important to riders such as a motorcycle lemon law, a procession bill to enhance safety with respect to organized rides, improvements to our motorcycle safety program, etc.
Freeburn motorcycle attorneys will continue to advocate for riders and the motorcycle community. We have your back.
One of the most important missions of Freeburn motorcycle attorneys is to educate riders and non-riders on critical issues that impact the safety and protection of riders.
Education for riders: Freeburn motorcycle attorneys wrote a book titled “before you ride” that lays out our recommendations for the types and amounts of insurance coverages that motorcyclists should have on their motorcycle policies, and the things riders need to do immediately after an accident. I distribute our book at motorcycle events, and motorcycle organization meetings. I have also spoken at over 50 motorcycle organization meetings, and I give a workshop on the topic each year at the annual statewide seminar for a.B.A.T.E. Of pa. I am careful to explain that I am an injury lawyer. I do not sell insurance or have any connection to insurance companies other than to fight them on behalf of my clients. However, my ability to get riders the money they deserve following an accident depends on whether they have the right insurance coverage and their actions following the accident.
Education for non-riders: freeburn motorcycle attorneys is proud to be involved with a.B.A.T.E. Of pa’s program called operation save a life, (osal), which educates non-riders about motorcycle awareness and how to share the road with motorcycles. Osal’s motto is look twice, save a life. Freeburn motorcycle attorneys, in conjunction with osal, produced, an 18-minute video to be shown to non-riders. It is primarily shown in high schools. A qr code for the video is set forth below. Freeburn motorcycle attorneys also sponsors a pamphlet that is provided in connection with the video presentation. The osal program has been shown to thousands of non-riders with the hope of saving lives and preventing injuries for riders.
Freeburn motorcycle attorneys is committed to promoting safety protection of riders through education.
The ability to litigate is essential to getting the money you deserve. Without the ability to litigate, an injury victim has no leverage. They are like a dog with no teeth; all bark, and no bite. Freeburn motorcycle attorneys can litigate. It is the bite.
In most cases, Freeburn motorcycle attorneys can get the money its clients deserve without litigation and in more than 95% of cases, without going to trial. However, it takes the knowledge that we can and will go to trial if necessary to get you the money you deserve.
Freeburn motorcycle attorneys has recovered millions upon millions of dollars for riders who have been injured or worse due to the negligence of others. I am very confident, based on my many years of legal practice, and the pittance that the insurance carriers initially offer, that our clients get much, much more than they would have without our representation, even after deducting our fees.
Freeburn motorcycle attorneys works on a “no recovery, no fee” basis. This means that if we get no money for you, you owe us no fee. You pay no retainer or up-front fee. We only get paid at the end of the case based on the recovery. In addition, we advance all expenses of representation. So, if we get no money for you, you owe no fee or expenses! Therefore, we work very hard to get you the most money we can get!
