- The number of motorcyclists fatalities increased 11% compared to the previous year.

- Motorcyclists were more likely to be speeding or under the influence of alcohol compared to drivers of passenger vehicles.

Speeding – 34% of motorcyclists involved in fatal crashes were speeding compared to 22% of drivers in passenger vehicles.
